Welcome to Fircombe! (Carry On Girls icons)

I know, why can't I do Doctor Who icons? Well, it's so easy and fun to do Carry On icons in comparison: everyone looks so cheerful, and the faces are so distinctive - literally iconic; nobody else is doing them, and the lighting and colouring is all pretty much just there. It's addictive.

Anyway, 45 Carry On Girls icons:

You're so right about the faces! Some great ones here. Especially 33. :D

Aw, thanks! And that's Kenneth Connor (as Frederick Bumble, the pompous Mayor who keeps losing his trousers. Bear in mind, whatever I may say, this is the elevel of sophistication we're talking about here...)

I was just watching Carry on Girls too. One of my favourites. I absolutely love 1, 10, 14, 17 and 35.

Wendy Richards
Actually, it's Wendy Richard. No 'S'. As her autobiography told us. /pedantic. Feel free to ignore :P.

Thanks!

Whoops - I hadn't realised. I know when someone puts an unwanted d into Peter Davison, or a bad h in Jon Pertwee, & will change at once!

As to 001, I'm liking Patsy Rowlands more and more as I rewatch. Her reaction on the commentary on being forced to watch herself in even more unglamorous mode than usual, in slobby dressing gown etc, was amusing.

I have yet to hear the commentary for it, but Patsy Rowlands gave such a fantastic performance. Such amazing comic timing.

Not as such, but the character seemed such a cliched lesbian/feminist type and it seemed to fit the screencap nicely.

Gorgeous as always.
The cliche one made by lol - very true! But those films thrived on cliches lol
