Damn, I was 1 intelligent 11 year-old. I was packing today, and I came across these poems and stuff I had written. I was probably deeper and a better writer last summer than I am now.

"when you look at the horizon, you see tomorrow and yesterday, and the world, but we only see here and now."

Yeah, in five years you're really going to laugh at yourself. I came across stories and essays I wrote sophomore year, and I feel sorry for myself that I was that shitty.

Did you write that in quotes? It's very beautiful.

Oh, last summer I had a dream where I was in love with this guy, and I was really happy, but he left me for this other girl instead. When he told me he was lesving, he said to me, as his reason why we wouldn't work, "When you look into the horizon, you see tomorrow and the yesterday, and the world, but we only see here and now."
I always have thought that it was a very interesting choice of words, and was amazed that my 11 year-old mind came up with that.
I was also interested in the wonder, love-induced euphoria that I had in that dream, many months before I fell into my "boy crazy" stage.

That is, "when he told me he was LEAVING...," and "...interested in the WONDERFUL, love-induced euphoria..."
Sorry for the sloppiness
