Lost Fic Awards : Nomination post!
Nominations for the next round are now being accepted. The deadline for nominating in all categories is MARCH 18.
Please comment below with your nominations - comments are screened.
Please remember to check the list of past winners to make sure that fic you love so much hasn't already won.
REGULAR CATEGORIES
BEST GEN FIC - Canon- or genre-based fic where romance is not the main focus of the story. Ratings: G, PG, or R
BEST HET FIC - A fic that features/focuses on a het pairing. Any rating.
BEST SLASH FIC - A fic that features/focuses on a slash pairing. Any rating.
BEST SERIES - A story with multiple chapters, installments, or sequels. Any rating.
OUTSTANDING FIRST FIC - Must be the author's first fic in the Lost fandom. Any rating.
BEST DRABBLE - A story of 108 words or less.
ROTATING CATEGORY - MOD's CHOICE: Best AU (alternate universe)
AUTHOR OF THE MONTH - No nominations are accepted for this category. Results will be drawn statistically from the voting in all other categories.
General Nominating Guidelines (aka the fine print):
1. You may nominate fics as many (or as few) categories as you'd like, but just one nomination per category per month.
2. All fics must relate to LOST. They may contain OCs or be AU, but must either have characters from LOST or be based on the concept of LOST.
3. Include fic title, author, and link to story when nominating and specify which category you are nominating in. Please continue to use this format for nominations:

4. Fics and authors do not have to be on LJ.
5. Fics can be new or old - as long as they have not previously won in any category. (Fics that have already won individually can be reconsidered if they are part of a series that has not already won *as* a series.) 6. You do not have to be a member of the comm to nominate or vote.
7. All nominations are done via screened comments to preserve anonymity.
8. Please do not nominate fics that are f-locked. If you would like to nominate a locked fic, please ask the author first if they wouldn't mind unlocking it.
9. If you nominate one of your own fics, you must also nominate at least one fic by a different author in another category. This also applies to co-authored fics, if you want to nominate a fic you co-wrote, please also include a nomination by someone else in a different category.
