I guess, fuck, I love that Onslaught had greater plans than just getting rid of the loyalty programming this whole time--it makes so much sense and it makes me happy. I especially love that while his overall intentions are kind of inspiring (retaking Cybertron, bereft of faction), he still goes about it ruthlessly, obviously having no qualms about using First Aid as leverage or whatever else. He's very big picture about everything. (...can you tell I am still becoming enamored of him

So happy you continue to like Onslaught! He has EPIC PLANS! Wonderful plans! His estimation of his own plans couldn't be higher. And I'm sure he'd be happy to know he's appreciated ;)

As for the main plot point YAY! *epic happydance* :D :D :D The factory defaults scene took so long to work out! I'm really pleased it worked. I'm also pleased that the moral ambuguity came across so strongly, because yeah, now both of them have done something thoroughly reprehensible to the other. No going back from there, even if Vortex is now a cheerful, obedient and suggestible new-build again.

Slow commentor is slow, but goddam u.kitty! Shit shit shit. What has Aid done? I cannot say I blame him, or that others would not have done much worse, but oh, oh dear. The one redeemer in that act was that he's kept a back up. I realize he has not nulified Vortex, not entirely. He is still himself, still a warrior first, and seemingly still sensation driven, if not obviously yet, or not sadistically. But the rest of who he is, the who he is driven by experience and living- that's in a little back up file. Not dead, but detached and sleeping. And that's a creepy, creepy prospect
