Thanks for spotting the typo. Fixed now! (along with a load of other stuff that I only noticed after posting. *facepalm*) I'm surprised that was the only glaring typo in that mess :S

Oh, very nice. It was a different take on their origins than I usually see--not a team at all before Starscream put them together--so they've got more to work through than usual, and it's nice to see them do so.

And, yes, Onslaught is absolutely right. Without the programming, they're fragged. Poor Combaticons.

Watching G1, I got a very firm idea about what sorts of people they were before they got locked up, so I went with that, and it's proving to be really interesting to write.

Yep, totally fragged. But with their programming, they might just have a chance to make things work for themselves...

This made me laugh and it was an interesting look into how the Combaticons cope with getting that pesky programming. Onslaught's got his work cut out for him. Great story!

“Oh Sigma, yes!” Vortex moaned, as the stench of melting copper filled the air.

That's REALLY good, you've got the characters down pat and the whole scene was just so very - Combaticonish =D The gestalt bond was done really interestingly and credibly too.

This line:
"The shuttle speaks," Vortex commented. Blast Off had a habit of fading into the background; it would have been deliciously creepy if only he meant anything by it. As it was, he was just plain disappointing." Brilliant - you put Blast Off's pathetic predicament across so well that by the end I almost wanted to give the guy a hug :-)

You're welcome! I hope you write more. It's great to see somebody tackling the Batties en masse - quite a handful, but you gave them a sense of being totally dysfunctional and yet bound together and that worked really well.
