you left out the 1938 toxic tomato scare. where Dr. snippet accidentally dropped a test tube of toxic waste onto a piece of tomato crop. the toxens breathed life into the crop turning an innocent field into a breeding ground for human lusting zombie tomatoes. im surprised you didn't mention it they made a movie out of it.

Newport Beach branded Costa Mesa with the nickname "Goat Hill." Costa Mesa residents retaliated by calling Newport Beach "Mackerel Flats."
