Summary: There is always something about personal servants - their master can hardly resist them.

“Good morning, master!” A soft voice woke Jun. He slowly opened his eyes and saw his servant next to him wearing a gentle smile. “It's time to get up. I already picked up your clothes for today. They're lying in the bathroom. Do you want me to help you changing?” Jun just shook his head, so his servant bowed and left the room. It was already the third morning Jun was woken by Ohno. His face was the first thing he saw in the morning and the last one he saw in the evening. Somehow, this didn't help him to get rid of the feeling in his stomach, instead it got even stronger. Every morning when he opened his eyes and saw Ohno smiling at him, his heart would start to race and his stomach felt as if it was full with soft feathers tickling it. Normally he would feel happy having such a feeling at the beginning of the day, but the reason for this tingling in his body was a man. Jun could have understood it if his servant was a woman, but why was he feeling that way while looking at Ohno, who was obviously a male?

He was still thinking about that matter when he went to the bathroom to change into the clothes Ohno had chosen for him. Ohno was definitely a man. So why was he having problems with changing in front of him then? He even went into the bathing tub in front of his old servant. If Ohno was a woman he could have understood the feeling of wanting to be seen by him while changing...

But Ohno was NOT a woman and still, he was able to cause such feelings. This was the point that was bringing Jun out of his balance. Maybe he just should stop thinking about that matter. Today he was having fighting lessons, which were the perfect opportunity to distract him.

“You're not concentrating!” Nino pointed out while he was hitting Jun with his stick for the umpteenth time. “I am concentrating!” Jun tried to defend himself. “You just raised the level today.” “I'm not fighting the way I would fight on other days, that's true” Jun nodded contently. “I'm fighting like a 9-year-old and I'm still winning against you!” said Nino. “Jun, you're a good fighter. Normally you can sense the direction the weapon is coming from. But today you don't even see it when it's right in front of your nose. So I can tell you for sure, that today you are not concentrating!” Jun sighed. Of course Nino was right. He was not concentrating at all, because he was still trying to figure out what was happening to him. Nino put his stick away. “I think it's no use to go on with the fight. Your mind is too occupied with your new servant...” Jun's eyes widened and his mouth opened. But after some seconds he came to his senses again and tried to hide his surprise, which was - of course - too late. Nino, knowing that he hit the bull's eye, smiled contently and moved towards the door. “I have to admit that he's really cute though...!” he smirked. “See you!” and with these words he left a super confused Jun behind.

Jun sat down on the floor and leaned against the wall. He sighed deeply. Was it really that obvious that he was thinking about Ohno? It couldn't be. He really concentrated on not watching Ohno the whole time though he couldn't help to take a glimpse at him once in a while. And he was really trying to have as less interaction with him as possible, because, even just listening to his soft voice, was causing the soft tingling in his stomach. He was sure that nobody else had realized it, but Nino had been able to read him since the first day they met. Nobody knows where he came from, but one morning he was discovered at the front gate of their house, wounded and weak. Jun managed to convince his father to let Nino stay till he was healthy enough to return to his home. During the time Nino need to recover Jun would pay him a visit and they'd talk for hours. Both had the same interests as they were of the same age, as they soon found out. But although Jun asked several times, Nino never said where he came from.

When the day of Nino's departure arrived, Jun asked his friend for a fight. To his surprise Nino's fighting abilities were a hundred times better than his own and Jun had have training since he could walk. He had never seen anybody else handling a weapon as elegantly, but, at the same time, as effective as Nino. So he made Nino fight in front of his father who was amazed by Nino's abilities as well. He was impressed by his talent to that extent that he asked Nino to stay and become Jun's, Sho's and his very own trainer and without a second thought Nino had accepted the offer. This was now 12 years ago. Since then the both grew up together and had spent hours, even days in the training room fighting and talking. So, of course, Nino was able to read him. Jun just hoped that Nino was the only one who was able to do so.

Suddenly, he heard steps coming towards the room, but Jun was not in the mood to talk to anybody right now and so he stood up quickly and left the room through the second door. He didn't really realize where he was walking to till he reached the stables. Maybe it was a good idea to go horse riding. After all it had been some time since he had felt the wind on his face and saw the landscape flying by while his horse “Arashi” was running like the wind.

He went inside the stables and, as soon as he opened the door, he could hear somebody humming a cheerful melody. He was quite sure that he knew who it was and as he went further inside the stable he saw that he guessed right. Aiba was feeding the horses. Like every day, he was smiling. Jun could not understand how he could be that happy. He was a servant who had to work his entire life here at his house. Additionally, working in the stables was even one of the lowest jobs for servants , so he even had a low social status among those people. Still, since Aiba came here one year ago Jun had never seen him without a smile on his face. “Hello Aiba! You're in a good mood as always?!”, Jun greeted the other one. “Master, hello! Because I'm happy!”, Aiba bowed. “How can you be so happy knowing that you have to spend your whole life working here?”, Jun asked, still not being able to believe it. “Because I have a wonderful master who always takes care of me. So I don't have anything to fear!” Aiba answered and blushed. But Jun didn't realize, because he was already working on this logic. “Do you want me to prepare Arashi for you now?”, Aiba added. Jun nodded. Aiba's answer was giving him some thoughts. It was true that his father was not someone who was tyrannizing his servants. As long as everything went according to his rules and the servants are not trying to steal something or harm anybody he would not interfere with their business. On the other hand, he was taking care of them: making sure they always have enough to eat and clean places to stay...

Arashi's whining brought him back. The horse was rubbing his nostrils on Jun's chest. “He is happy to see you again.”, Aiba said and handed Jun the rein. “It's good to see you, buddy!”, Jun started to caress the soft fur behind Arashi's ears. “I'll be back soon”, he informed Aiba and led Arashi outside the stable. He climbed at his back and without having to give him a signal Arashi started to move. “Let's have a nice, but not too long round”, Jun addressed Arashi and patted his neck. He knew that he did not have to care about the way when he was with his horse. He would just let him find his way, because he was sure that Arashi would bring him back safely. He had always felt like that horse was able to understand him without himself saying anything. The animal always knew what he needed in the special situation, so he let Arashi decide for the route, knowing that he could trust him with his whole life.

While watching the landscape passing by, he kept thinking about the relationship between a master and his servant. He slowly started to realize that not just the servants have to fulfill their duty, but also their owner has to follow some unspoken rules. More and more facts came rushing to Jun's mind and when he realized that they were nearing his house again, he felt that he needed to have a talk with his brother.

“Thank you for bringing me back home safely!”, he said towards Arashi who just nodded with his head. He got down and led the horse into the stable. “Oh master, you're back?!” Aiba came rushing towards him. “Did you had a good time?” “Yes, thank you!” Jun answered, now petting Arashi behind his ears. “See you soon, buddy!”, he whispered, turned around and smiled at Aiba (who smiled back of course). Then he rushed towards the house.

Without knocking he stormed into Sho's room. “Jun, what happened?”, Sho asked in surprise. “Well, nothing to worry about. I just want to talk to you about something”, Jun calmed down his older brother. “Sure, I always have an open ear for you, my little bro”, Sho said and pointed at the chair in front of him. Jun sat down on it. “You know, I was riding Arashi just now and met Aiba at the stable. Since he was being happy as always, I asked him why he feels that way though he is just a servant. He answered that he has a wonderful master who always takes care of him so that doesn't feel scared.” “He did say that?” A big smile appeared on Sho's face and his cheeks showed a little touch of red. “Yes, he did! Why are you so happy about it?” Jun asked. “Oh, there is no special reason for that”, Sho answered a little bit too fast. “I'm just glad that our servants feel that way.”, he added. “Exactly!” Jun exclaimed. “That's what I'm thinking too. I never thought about that before. I didn't expect somebody being that happy while working for us...” Sho smiled his usual gentle smile. “I think my little brother matured a little bit today. You see, they feel happy because they have a home here and someone who takes care of them. Do you remember the ill cook from last year?” Jun nodded. “It really looked bad for him, but father invited the best doctors, even though they were super expensive and he could have bought two new cooks from the money. But these doctors were able to cure him. Now he is standing in the kitchen again and I think that his dishes are even more delicious than before. This is his way to show his gratitude to our father for saving his life. It is our job as their master to make sure that every single servant is having a good life while working for us, and father really knows how to care for these people. This is why they are proud to say that they are working for us”, Sho ended his monologue and Jun remained silent. Sho knew that his brother was working himself through his words and he was sure that Jun would be able to understand. Then he would be able to move a bit closer to being a good Samurai. Sho went on reading the book he had started before Jun had stormed into his room, while his brother was staring into the air thinking about his words. They remained like that till it was time for dinner. On their way to the dining room Sho patted his brothers shoulder and smiled encouraging. “Thanks!” Jun nodded towards his brother. “No problem at all!”, Sho replied. Once again Jun was thankful that Sho was his brother. Whenever he had a problem he could talk to him and Sho was always able to give him the hints he needed. Jun knew that he could always rely on him, and, of course, Jun would do everything for Sho as well - whatever it would be.
