ABR [Author Random Blabbering] This is my very very first fanfiction - everything started with it. I wrote it as a b'day present for a friend of mine, because it was her wish- So you for everything that follows in this community you have to blame her (or thank her ^^ )
Summary: When they heard that Nino had an accident on the way to the studio his four band mates are in a shock. Ohno has a hard time to stay focused, because his thoughts are just about Nino...
„Where is he?“ Jun looked at his watch. „The shooting will start soon and he still hasn't arrived.“ „He also doesn't pick up his mobile phone“, Sho said and dealt Nino's number again. „Maybe he fell asleep while playing with his Play Station“, Aiba assumed and concentrated on his „Bartender“ script again. Just Ohno - as always - said nothing.
„It's weird that Nino isn't here“, Ohno thought. „Normally he's punctual and VS Arashi is his favourite show since he likes playing games so much. Where is he??“
The next moment their very nervous manager entered the room. „Nino had an an accident when he was on the way and he's now in the „Tokai University Hospital...”
Jun, Aiba, Sho and Ohno jumped from the sofa and ran to the manager while asking questions in complete disorder. „Is he injured?“ „How is he?“ „What happened?“ „Can we go and visit him now?“
„I don't know how he's feeling and I also don't know what happened. They're doing a check up on him now. Whatever happened, we're going to shoot this episode now. We tell the audience that Nino is ill and has no voice anymore and that he has to rest. The shooting will start in 10 minutes“, with these words the manager left the room.
First nobody spoke, but then Jun whispered „He'll be fine. He can endure a lot...” The others just nodded. Nobody could imagine shooting VS Arashi without Nino. Every time when the shooting of one of their regular show was on their schedule, they were looking forward to it, because this was a chance to see the others all together. Everyone had a lot of solo photo shoots or interviews or was filming a drama so that it wasn't too often that they were doing something together.
„As soon as the shoot ends we're driving to the hospital“ Sho decided. They all showed their agreement through a nod. Ohno hadn't said anything. He started to feel a terrible panic running through his body. He couldn't imagine that something bad had happened to Nino. Nino was always the one being lucky all the time. It was the first time that he got into serious trouble. Actually Ohno wanted to drive to the hospital immediately. He wanted to know if Nino had to endure terrible pain and if he could help him somehow...
He was really confused and he also couldn't explain why he suddenly felt this huge panic coming up. Of course he always felt sorry if something happened to somebody and he was worried, but he never felt that terrified. He never had a preference for any of the other members. He didn't feel embarrassed when the others hugged him or touched him. If thought clearly about it, the most of the time it was Nino who touched him. He always thought this belonged to the „fanservice“. However, lately Nino wasn't around him so much. And now he wasn't even near to him at all. He was in the hospital which was definitely too far away.
„We should try to give our best now.“ Sho's words brought him back to reality. „The less mistakes we're making, the faster we finish the shooting.“ Everybody agreed, stood up and made a circle by laying the arms on the shoulders of the neighbour. Nobody said anything, but just this ritual gave them a little bit of their energy back.
However during the shoot anyone could realize that the four boys did not concentrate on their work. Jun, who normally was quite secure in catching the pipe in „Falling Pipe“ did not even get a single point. Furthermore, „bratty Nino“ was missing, who mostly was able to confuse his opponent as a pipe choicer, so that the other couldn't score. But today, Aiba had to take over, which wasn't the best solution since you can read in Aiba's face which numbers he picked. So after the first match the guests had a huge winning margin. During „Pinnball Runner“ Sho mixed up all the numbers and Ohno couldn't bring up some energy to catch all the balls, which fell down. Furthermore the always energetic Aiba didn't manage to climb to the top in „Cliff Climb“. To make it short: Arashi got a caning.
Nino would have been mad at them, because he hated it to loose. However, today he wasn't there to nag and the others didn't care about winning or loosing. They just wanted to get to that hospital as fast as possible. Nobody spoke while they were changing. Even Aiba, who normally talks the whole time, was silent and tried to finish as quickly as he could.
They never had been faster. Usually they would fool around. Aiba would steal Jun's hat and put it on Nino's head. Then he would position himself in front of Nino so that Jun wouldn't be able to get his hat back. Jun would get mad and would start to rail and Sho would burst into laughter. However, at some point in time Jun would have managed to pass Aiba, but in the meantime Nino would have ran away to hide behind the still laughing Sho.
Like always Ohno would watch them and feel a warm feeling around his heart, which he always got while watching „his four boys“ playing together. But basically he would watch every single movement of Nino. How he first was protected by Aiba of Jun, who wanted to get his hat back. Aiba would loop his arms around Nino's belly...not even a single millimeter space between their bodies. Then Nino would leave Aiba's arms and go over to Sho, to hide behind his back and wait till Jun arrives, who would then try to grasp around Sho to get Nino. While trying not to be caught by Juns arms, Nino would slide along Sho's body....why does he never hides behind Ohno? Sure, he wasn't as tall and didn't had such strong shoulders as Sho had, but he would also like the feeling of Nino sliding along his body...
„Riida, are you going to get into that car as well?“ Aiba's voice interrupted his daydreams. Ohno hadn't realized that they made their way out of the studios. He joined Aiba, who was sitting in the back of the car. Sho would drive them over to the hospital. He was the one who could concentrate the best in this situation, because he was very serious about the responsibility he had for the others.
„You surely where thinking about Nino, ne Riida?“, Jun asked understandingly.
Of course he had thought about Nino. But not about him lying in the hospital and enduring huge pain. He though about Nino sliding along the bodies of his band mates, just to transfer the feeling to himself. He really should pull himself together. At the moment Nino's health was the most important thing and not the necessitative feeling between his legs...
Why did it start now? Usually he didn't feel anything, when Nino was around him or when he was touching him. Ohno looked out of the window to stop himself form thinking about his band colleague. He could see that they were near the hospital. Soon they'd know about Nino's condition, which was perfectly fine, hopefully.
Sho had managed to get them safely to the hospital. However, nobody moved to get out of the car. „Whatever had happened“, Sho said, „we'll support him in every way we can.“ „Sure“, Jun nodded. „Even when it affects the future of Arashi.“ „There is no Arashi without Nino“, Aiba added serious. „Oh-chan?“, Jun asked, because Ohno hadn't said anything. „I'll stay with him no matter what happened and even if it affects Arashi“, Ohno told them. Aiba and Sho looked a little bit confused about his sudden, very serious reaction, but Jun just smiled knowingly.
„Let's go“, Sho whispered. All nodded, got out of the car and walked slowly towards the hospital. On their way to the front desk Ohno's mind was occupied with worries about Nino again. What would he do if something really terrible happened to Nino? What if he could never recover from it? What if he could never come back to Arashi?
„Excuse me, we want to visit Ninomiya Kazunari“, he could hear Sho telling the woman behind the counter. „One moment, please“, she answered back friendly.
Ohno let himself fall on the next chair. Normally Nino was a lucky boy. He surely would welcome them with a „You really needed a long time to show up here!“. He just couldn't imagine a Nino, who wasn't bratty at all, just lying there, without any energy, saying nothing. What would he do when he'd see him like that? He was sure that in this moment he wanted to take Nino into his arms and give him all of his energy. He was sure that Nino would be able to feel the intensity of feelings he had for him and that these will give him back his strength...but what did he mean with „feelings for him“? What kind of a feelings were that and where did it come from...maybe...
„OH-CHAN!“ Aiba's face appeared directly in front of his own so that he moved backwards. „Are you coming? We are allowed to visit Nino now.“ Ohno jumped up immediately and move into the direction Aiba was pointing. „Oh-chan, wait“, Aiba screamed and chased after him.
„Somehow he's behaving weird today“, Sho told Jun. Jun again smiled his mysterious smile. „He suddenly realized how much Nino means to him.“ Sho looked at Jun in confusion. But then his eyes widened and Jun nodded. The mysterious smile also appeared on Sho's face and they both walked towards Nino's room.
„Why did it take you so long?“, Nino nagged when the four entered his room. Ohno had known it. He had wished for Nino saying exactly this sentence, because it meant, that he was feeling well.
Now he felt at ease. „Kazu-chaaaaaaan!“ Aiba spread his arms and ran over to Nino. When he reached the horrified looking Nino, he threw himself on top of him and buried him under his own body. „Take him off!“, they could hear Nino screaming from under Aiba. Jun and Sho went to help him. Both were still smiling, but also very relieved that their fifth member wasn't hurt too bad. While Sho and Jun tried to drag Aiba from Nino, Ohno went to the other side of the bed. After Aiba finally let go of Nino, Ohno could take a look at the injured. Nino had lots of little cuts in his face and at his neck. His gaze stopped at Nino's neck. Even though there were lots of little cuts, his neck seemed to have an incredibly high attractiveness at him now. Has it been like that before? He had always thought that Nino's body was perfect. During the joined shower after their concerts he had always enjoyed watching Nino. The way the water was running slowly over his body, how it dropped from his hairs to his shoulders and ran over his back afterwards. However, till now he hadn't thought about his feelings while watching him. Till now he thought that it was just beautiful watching the drop running over Nino's body. But now he died to follow the way of the drop with his finger...
This time his daydreams were cut off by the one causing him to dream. „I'm not in a well condition!“, Nino was screaming. „Just look at my arms!“ Ohno gaze released Nino's neck and wandered over to his arms. Both of Nino's arms were put in a cast, which was reaching till his elbows. „But it really could have been worse“, Jun responded uncomprehendingly. „They've put on a cast on my hands as well. Now I can't move my fingers anymore and that mean that I can't play DS. I'm going to die because of boredom.“ Nino's face was pathetic. „I can take care that you won't feel bored“, Aiba offered with a big smile. „Not you!“, Jun and Sho stopped him. Nino's horrified face started to relax again. But Aiba wasn't thinking like them. „But I want to stay here. I have to learn my text for the drama. Nino could help me...“ „WE'll help you!“, Jun and Sho offered immediately. “You...two will do that?” Aiba beamed at them. At this moment Sho and Jun realized what they just had said. If they'd change the topic fast, Aiba would probably forget about their offer.
“What happened to you?”, Sho asked and turned towards Nino. “Nothing”, Nino answered. “For doing “nothing”, you look a bit too crashed”, Jun threw in. “But the kitten...”, Nino tried to explain. “It would have been killed by the car...” “...and instead of the kitten you get YOURSELF killed?!”, Ohno screamed angrily at Nino. “You're an idiot. To jump in front of a car just to rescue that kitten and risk your life because of that thing. I was getting crazy while worrying about you”, Ohno continued screaming at Nino. Nino looked at him with big eyes, Jun and Sho started to smile again and Aiba didn't get anything. “I would have done that too”, Aiba said, because he loved every animal and could understand Nino to the fullest. Ohno was quite sure that he would have tried to rescue that kitten as well. But that Nino risked his life just to rescue the kitten...
“Well, I have to spend the night here, because they want to check if I'm fine. Tomorrow I'll be allowed to go home”, Nino informed the others.
“Well, then we'll drive over to your home and get some things for you”, Sho said. He nodded towards Jun, who took Aiba by his arm and moved with him towards the door. Ohno began to move as well.
“Do you have any special request what we should bring for you?”, Sho asked the savior of the kitten. “It would be nice if you could bring my Nintendo. Maybe I'll be able to play...”
Jun and Aiba had already left the room and Ohno was at the door already. “Oh-chan, could you stay with me?” Nino asked with a low voice. Ohno couldn't believe what he had heard just now. Nino wanted him to stay? That would mean that he and Nino would be alone...
“Wonderful. Riida will stay here and we'll get your stuff”, Sho said quickly, waved and left the room as well.
Ohno moved back to Nino's bed. “How are you?” he asked the younger one softly.
“Uhm...I'm okay...when I fell at the road I felt a lot of pain...and now my back really hurts. I have to put on this cream to help it healing....” Nino looked at Ohno.
“Do you want me to put it on your back?” Ohno asked. Nino's short nod answered his question. Ohno took the cream from the table. Nino moved a little bit forward, so that Ohno was able to sat down behind him. Carefully Ohno pulled Nino's shirt up. He could see that he had lots of little cuts and wounded skin all over his back. Ohno moved along these wounds with his finger very carefully. Then he took the cream and started to apply it on Nino's back.
While Ohno was helping him with the cream, Nino could just think about the man sitting behind him. He had strong feelings for Ohno since a long time and he had always tried to show them to him. But as naive as Ohno was, he never understood Nino's tries. At some point Nino was too frustrated and decided to bury his feelings for Ohno. Up till now he really had managed to do so. But now Ohno was sitting right behind him and was caressing his back. He could feel Ohno's breath at his neck. He started to shiver.
“Are you feeling cold?”, Ohno asked worried. He had finished creaming his back and pulled the shirt down again. He then leaned his body carefully against Nino's back and pulled his arms around Nino's waist. He put his head on Nino's shoulder. “I was worried like hell. Please don't ever do that again!”, he whispered into Nino's ear and kissed his neck.
Nino was too surprised to be able to react immediately. Did he heard the right thing? Ohno was worried about him? And...what are Ohno's arms doing around his waist? And had Ohno really kissed him now or was he just dreaming? Nino coughed. “Well, I actually didn't intent to threw myself in front of a car”, he answered, trying to not let his nervousness shine through in his voice. Ohno's hairs were tickling on his cheek.
“That's good to hear, but the next time I'll take care that you won't get hurt. Because from today on I will always be with you and take care of you” Ohno said softly.
“You don't have to take care of me. I'm not a child anymore and...” Nino suddenly realized what Ohno had said just now. He had said that he would always be with him. That were his exact words. Did Ohno wanted to imply that he also had feelings for him? Did he mean that he couldn't take the thought of him being injured again?
“Kazu-chan?”, Ohno's voice cut through his thoughts. “Will you allow me to always be with you?” Nino hadn't realized that Ohno stood up and was now standing in front of him. Now he was looking at him with big pleading eyes. Nino was too surprised about this question to be able to formulate a reasonable answer right now. Ohno felt like minutes were turning into hours. He finally had realized that his feelings for the younger one weren't just feelings of friendship. That's why he had felt this terrible panic while not knowing about Nino's condition. He couldn't imagine a life without Nino and now he had to take care that he would always stay at his side.
“Yes, I allow you to do that!”, Nino finally ended the silence between the two.
That was the answer Ohno had waited for. Now he couldn't wait any longer. He took Nino's face into his hands and kissed him. Nino's soft lips were opened a little bit due to his surprise over the sudden kiss. So Ohno moved along the shape of his lips with his tongue. Nino tasted sweet and Ohno knew that he would never be able to forget that taste. But Nino was his now. He had allowed him to stay with him for always. He would never gave him away again. And he really would take care that Nino was not throwing himself in front of cars anymore.
Suddenly he realized a movement. He moved away from Nino, who made sounds of disappointment. At the door was a brightly smiling Jun.
“I'm sorry to interrupt you two sweethearts, but I wanted to bring Nino's clothes. And I also went to Ohno's home to get some stuff for him. I thought that Ohno would rather spend the night at the hospital and it seems that I was right.”
“How did you know...”, Ohno asked confused.
“I knew it before you did”, Jun answered.
“Then you really could have said anything to him”, Nino started nagging. “I had to throw myself in front of a car till he realized that he's in love with me.”
Ohno started to blush, but Jun just laughed.
“Where are Aiba and Sho?”, Ohno asked, just to change the topic.”They are at my house, making dinner...” Jun put Nino's bag on the bed.
“Aiba and Sho are COOKING?”, Nino looked at Jun as if he said something impossible.
“Yes, but I was at the Chinese restaurant now. Do you think I'll eat what they're cooking? I also brought something for you.” Jun put two bags on the table from which a wonderful smell was coming. “I think this is enough for you to last till tomorrow. We'll pick you up at around 10 tomorrow morning. Have a good night!” With these words Jun left the room.
Now Ohno and Nino were alone again. “I'm sorry for not realizing earlier how I feel about you”, Ohno apologized to Nino.
“It's okay! I'm just glad you DID realize it...and, uhm, Oh-chan, I'm really hungry.”
“Oh, sure!” Ohno started to prepare the food. While he was helping Nino to eat a wonderful warmth was running through his body. The day had started terribly, but ended as beautiful as it could be. And from now on every day would be even better, because he was able to spend it with Nino.

Even though there were lots of little cuts, his neck seemed to have an incredibly high attractiveness at him now. Has it been like that before? He had always thought that Nino's body was perfect. During the joined shower after their concerts he had always enjoyed watching Nino. The way the water was running slowly over his body, how it dropped from his hairs to his shoulders and ran over his back afterwards. However, till now he hadn't thought about his feelings while watching him. Till now he thought that it was just beautiful watching the drop running over Nino's body. But now he died to follow the way of the drop with his finger...
This time his daydreams were cut off by the one causing him to dream. „I'm not in a well condition!“, Nino was screaming. „Just look at my arms!“ Ohno gaze released Nino's neck and wandered over to his arms. Both of Nino's arms were put in a cast, which was reaching till his elbows. „But it really could have been worse“, Jun responded uncomprehendingly. „They've put on a cast on my hands as well. Now I can't move my fingers anymore and that mean that I can't play DS. I'm going to die because of boredom.“ Nino's face was pathetic. „I can take care that you won't feel bored“, Aiba offered with a big smile. „Not you!“, Jun and Sho stopped him. Nino's horrified face started to relax again. But Aiba wasn't thinking like them. „But I want to stay here. I have to learn my text for the drama. Nino could help me...“ „WE'll help you!“, Jun and Sho offered immediately. “You...two will do that?” Aiba beamed at them. At this moment Sho and Jun realized what they just had said. If they'd change the topic fast, Aiba would probably forget about their offer.
“What happened to you?”, Sho asked and turned towards Nino. “Nothing”, Nino answered. “For doing “nothing”, you look a bit too crashed”, Jun threw in. “But the kitten...”, Nino tried to explain. “It would have been killed by the car...” “...and instead of the kitten you get YOURSELF killed?!”, Ohno screamed angrily at Nino. “You're an idiot. To jump in front of a car just to rescue that kitten and risk your life because of that thing. I was getting crazy while worrying about you”, Ohno continued screaming at Nino. Nino looked at him with big eyes, Jun and Sho started to smile again and Aiba didn't get anything. “I would have done that too”, Aiba said, because he loved every animal and could understand Nino to the fullest. Ohno was quite sure that he would have tried to rescue that kitten as well. But that Nino risked his life just to rescue the kitten...
“Well, I have to spend the night here, because they want to check if I'm fine. Tomorrow I'll be allowed to go home”, Nino informed the others.
“Well, then we'll drive over to your home and get some things for you”, Sho said. He nodded towards Jun, who took Aiba by his arm and moved with him towards the door. Ohno began to move as well.
“Do you have any special request what we should bring for you?”, Sho asked the savior of the kitten. “It would be nice if you could bring my Nintendo. Maybe I'll be able to play...”
Jun and Aiba had already left the room and Ohno was at the door already. “Oh-chan, could you stay with me?” Nino asked with a low voice. Ohno couldn't believe what he had heard just now. Nino wanted him to stay? That would mean that he and Nino would be alone...
“Wonderful. Riida will stay here and we'll get your stuff”, Sho said quickly, waved and left the room as well.
Ohno moved back to Nino's bed. “How are you?” he asked the younger one softly.
“Uhm...I'm okay...when I fell at the road I felt a lot of pain...and now my back really hurts. I have to put on this cream to help it healing....” Nino looked at Ohno.
“Do you want me to put it on your back?” Ohno asked. Nino's short nod answered his question. Ohno took the cream from the table. Nino moved a little bit forward, so that Ohno was able to sat down behind him. Carefully Ohno pulled Nino's shirt up. He could see that he had lots of little cuts and wounded skin all over his back. Ohno moved along these wounds with his finger very carefully. Then he took the cream and started to apply it on Nino's back.
While Ohno was helping him with the cream, Nino could just think about the man sitting behind him. He had strong feelings for Ohno since a long time and he had always tried to show them to him. But as naive as Ohno was, he never understood Nino's tries. At some point Nino was too frustrated and decided to bury his feelings for Ohno. Up till now he really had managed to do so. But now Ohno was sitting right behind him and was caressing his back. He could feel Ohno's breath at his neck. He started to shiver.
“Are you feeling cold?”, Ohno asked worried. He had finished creaming his back and pulled the shirt down again. He then leaned his body carefully against Nino's back and pulled his arms around Nino's waist. He put his head on Nino's shoulder. “I was worried like hell. Please don't ever do that again!”, he whispered into Nino's ear and kissed his neck.
Nino was too surprised to be able to react immediately. Did he heard the right thing? Ohno was worried about him? And...what are Ohno's arms doing around his waist? And had Ohno really kissed him now or was he just dreaming? Nino coughed. “Well, I actually didn't intent to threw myself in front of a car”, he answered, trying to not let his nervousness shine through in his voice. Ohno's hairs were tickling on his cheek.
“That's good to hear, but the next time I'll take care that you won't get hurt. Because from today on I will always be with you and take care of you” Ohno said softly.
“You don't have to take care of me. I'm not a child anymore and...” Nino suddenly realized what Ohno had said just now. He had said that he would always be with him. That were his exact words. Did Ohno wanted to imply that he also had feelings for him? Did he mean that he couldn't take the thought of him being injured again?
“Kazu-chan?”, Ohno's voice cut through his thoughts. “Will you allow me to always be with you?” Nino hadn't realized that Ohno stood up and was now standing in front of him. Now he was looking at him with big pleading eyes. Nino was too surprised about this question to be able to formulate a reasonable answer right now. Ohno felt like minutes were turning into hours. He finally had realized that his feelings for the younger one weren't just feelings of friendship. That's why he had felt this terrible panic while not knowing about Nino's condition. He couldn't imagine a life without Nino and now he had to take care that he would always stay at his side.
“Yes, I allow you to do that!”, Nino finally ended the silence between the two.
That was the answer Ohno had waited for. Now he couldn't wait any longer. He took Nino's face into his hands and kissed him. Nino's soft lips were opened a little bit due to his surprise over the sudden kiss. So Ohno moved along the shape of his lips with his tongue. Nino tasted sweet and Ohno knew that he would never be able to forget that taste. But Nino was his now. He had allowed him to stay with him for always. He would never gave him away again. And he really would take care that Nino was not throwing himself in front of cars anymore.
Suddenly he realized a movement. He moved away from Nino, who made sounds of disappointment. At the door was a brightly smiling Jun.
“I'm sorry to interrupt you two sweethearts, but I wanted to bring Nino's clothes. And I also went to Ohno's home to get some stuff for him. I thought that Ohno would rather spend the night at the hospital and it seems that I was right.”
“How did you know...”, Ohno asked confused.
“I knew it before you did”, Jun answered.
“Then you really could have said anything to him”, Nino started nagging. “I had to throw myself in front of a car till he realized that he's in love with me.”
Ohno started to blush, but Jun just laughed.
“Where are Aiba and Sho?”, Ohno asked, just to change the topic.”They are at my house, making dinner...” Jun put Nino's bag on the bed.
“Aiba and Sho are COOKING?”, Nino looked at Jun as if he said something impossible.
“Yes, but I was at the Chinese restaurant now. Do you think I'll eat what they're cooking? I also brought something for you.” Jun put two bags on the table from which a wonderful smell was coming. “I think this is enough for you to last till tomorrow. We'll pick you up at around 10 tomorrow morning. Have a good night!” With these words Jun left the room.
Now Ohno and Nino were alone again. “I'm sorry for not realizing earlier how I feel about you”, Ohno apologized to Nino.
“It's okay! I'm just glad you DID realize it...and, uhm, Oh-chan, I'm really hungry.”
“Oh, sure!” Ohno started to prepare the food. While he was helping Nino to eat a wonderful warmth was running through his body. The day had started terribly, but ended as beautiful as it could be. And from now on every day would be even better, because he was able to spend it with Nino.
