Day 2 - The Happy Thing Meme
The thing that made me the happiest today is the fact that I am able to express my inner geek child by dressing up in prison jumpsuit and playing with a life-size toy just to make even one kid's dream come true.
Today was Open Cockpit Day at WOTR, so I donned the Orange and got my picture taken a lot. Fans old and young were thrilled and awestruck for the chance to make a piece of movie history come alive. I was able to share my joy with them, and my enthusiasm for the project with others. But being able to share a few moments talking about the finer points of the X-Wing with a 5 year old little boy was the thing that really brought a smile to my face. That's a memory for a lifetime.
Of course, it doesn't hurt that I also got to spend the evening with the other geeks sharing our holiday spirit.
