Vainity is good! doll_paparazzi June 11 2005, 15:51:08 UTC
It means you care about yourself! You know what I hate...people that are afraid to say they are ttractive or good at something because they MIGHT appear vain or god forbid, arrogant. Geezus Christ. If you were a GUY you'd be sure of yourself, right?

What's wrong with feeling good about yourself! And you have a lot of great things about yourself that you should remind yourself about yourself everyday, especially on a diet. You shouldn't harp on the bad things, because they only bring you down. And you find out later, that they weren't late bad to begin with.

I need to drink more water. Bruce used to yell at me about that ALL the fucking time. He still DOES actually. My bad. I'm a camel. Boo me. :(

You have some good points there. False modesty is often worse than so called vanity. I know what I'm good at and I try not to pretend to be falsely modest. I mean, I AM liking what I see in the mirror. I do have good skin, I have always had good skin, despite the eczema, and yeah, I have a nice figure too. I do consider myself to be very blessed in this life.

And hell, I've met people who are truly vain and at my worst I still have nothing on them. :P

You should hear my friend Laura and I in the car...wow we're terrible. Like two arrogant bitches. But its like, crap...why can't we feel good about ourselves and feel like we know what the fuck we're talking about on SOME things at least. Not on everything, mind you, but on SOME things.

I have great skin...always have, but it isn;t something I really think about. Sometimes I wish I had bigger boobs (just sometimes when I see the women with the huge boobs and the ultra HAWT men drooling all over them), but on the days I have bad pain, I am HAPPY I have the sized ones I have. You know what I mean? You gotta be happy with what ya got. :)

Heh, I can imagine what you and Laura must be like. Heh...but hey, you're right, it's important to acknowledge what you're good at and what you have.

I think I really am aware of how good my skin is because I DO have a skin condition that is painful and disfiguring when I have a break out. Not that it doesn't eventually clear up, but I really work hard to keep my skin nice and I know I don't look my age. My mom even has it worse. Her skin is really lovely when she's psoriasis free. Yup, she has psoriasis. She's had it since she was 10 years old.

No, you don't want big boobs. Trust me. They're a pain in the...chest. :P

I've long accepted my massive bum. In fact, I like it now. It took me a long, long time to accept it. I think once I could accept it and like it, the rest became easy. Even if I want smaller boobs, at least they balance out the bum and that's not bad at all.
