so we're cleaning house and i have a couple old computors, what do i do with them? just throw them out? any ideas??

do a google search for "ewaste" or "e waste" near you. you're not supposed to throw them in the trash, but there are places that will take them and recycle the bits...

NO no no, please recycle them! They have a lot of hazardous materials inside them, throwing them in a landfill is BAD. You can google Ewaste or something and find free recycle events in your area.
