Okay, so I barely remember Regina's canon and don't know about Merlin at all, buuuut she seems like she would be a great Guineviere? She was Arthur's love interest and Queen buuut fell in love with his top knight, Lancelot. :|a

So...yes! Details. You don't really need to know anything about the original legends to be able to operate within Merlin!verse. Merlin is a canon and fandom of its own and only loosely based upon the characters and themes of the traditional stories.

A few quick basics about the show:

• The series is set in the fictional kingdom of Camelot, anywhere from the year 600 AD-800 AD. Most of the story takes place in either the Pendragon castle or the surrounding town/forest.

• Merlin is the main character of the series. As the name and traditional lore suggest, he's a sorcerer (but only he and a select few others know this). He currently lives in the castle and works as Arthur's manservant while he watches over Camelot/Arthur. (Because it's his destiny, fate, so on and so forth

Because if it is there's several things to note:

-Merlin still works at the castle. Still manservant. Still sorcerer in sekrit.

-But he lives in a small house closer to the smithy district when he and Winry tied the knot.

Or...if not, how's this gonna work...?

Yeah, if Arthur's player is okay, I can just have her in that AU! She'd probably... live in the town and be all haughty there or something, idk.
