I watched the Academy Awards tonight. I don't know what it is, but I like watching awards shows to see all of the pretty people and pretty dresses. It's really lame and shallow, but I admit...I enjoy it. I wish I could get all dressed up like that for something, just once. I thought that Kate Winslet looked beautiful. I was glad to see that

I keep getting caught up in reading articles about her in the grocery store while waiting to check out. It's pretty clear by looking at pictures of her from a few years ago that she's had "something" done (plastic surgery), but she denies it.

Unfortunately, she's clearly not that bright, not for wanting a lot of kids, but for her line of reasoning in having them the way she has and thinking that she's going to magically be able to get a degree while taking care of 14 kids and then actually support them all with said degree. Everything she says just seems very naive, manipulative and foolish.

Yeah, I agree. I didn't know anything about her, really, except for the number of kids she has and the fact that she had eight at once. I just read a little article about her and it does seem like she just had a bunch of kids so that she could get some attention.

I think it's clear that she has had surgery, too. She has that deformed-looking lip thing going that plastic surgery patients get sometimes. I think it's creepy that she may have done it to look like Jolie and actually succeeded in a weird, distorted way. It's sad; I feel bad for her kids.
