The two events that surrounded my SRS was that shortly before it I was elevated 2 levels in Reiki and shortly after getting back I was elevated a degree in Wicca.

Out of those 3 events, it would be impossible to say I looked forward to at the complete exclusion of the others ... all 3 seemed linked in several ways.

Only peripherally related, another person in my Wicca class (who obviously knew what I was doing since I told the whole group) when I got back commented that the surgery made me smile more.

Ok, *I* found it hillarious, since the way he phrased it made it sound like the surgery was on my mouth's shape. :-)

Hi,

I know that I smile a lot more now than I ever did before transition.

And yeah, I can see the links between Reiki, Wicca, and Transition. (Ok, I don't do Reiki so I'll admit I understand that less than the other two.) Often personal and spiritual progress has multiple dimensions that we can't easily divide up into different boxes.

I added a few extra links of my own too, incorporating elements from one thing into another.

I certainly feel like smiling more ... now I wish I was more serious about my orthodontic stuff when I was a child.

Hi,

I say smile anyway when you feel like it. Nobody should need perfect teeth to smile.

If you ever write anything about the links you have added I suspect that I might find it interesting reading.
