I had to smile a bit at the good air part of your comment. The first couple of days, the air was indeed clear with ultra blue skies, but by the third day, the south wind brought a haze of smoke from a huge forest fire on the Oregon Nevada border. But we could still see the shooting stars from the Perseid shower even through the smoke.
