Murky Monday

It's been a tough morning.  No reason, really, other than sleeping poorly and feeling out of sorts after a vivid nightmare of a snake ready to bite if I moved and then being woken up by the jangle of the phone at the crucial moment of trying to be completely still.  Ugh.  Anyway, so my writing is suffering this morning; nothing seems to be working ( Read more... )

Sorry about the creepy snake dream/phone jangle. That would put a damper on anyone's day. Here. Have some tea.

Wow, that's excellent! And it not only speaks to me as the writer, but it also is helping as I'm working on the wall which is currently blocking my WIP -- thank you for sharing this!

What a creepy nightmare. It would ruin my morning too. Hope tomorrow is better.

Hoping you have better dreams and sleep and just enough lag of wretchedness to fuel inspiration tomorrow.

On this cold rainy morning, the inspiration is already speaking. I hope it's still here when I get back this afternoon!

A nightmare like that would make me feel jangled and jumpy, too -- and I'm not sure I would have the presence of mind to gain the perspective on it that you have. I'm very glad to hear you slept better the next night! Here's hoping you're fast asleep as I write this, with sweet dreams and a good morning to follow. xo

Thanks, Amy! No more snake nightmares and all is well. I'm wondering what's blossoming in your yard today...and maybe some writing blossoming inside for you as well? :)
