Sookie Stackhouse Series: Sookie's Suitors

My current obsession is the Sookie Stackhouse Series.  I haven't seen True Blood yet, but rest assure, I have season one in my Netflix queue list.  I think something that makes the story so interesting is the fact that Sookie is constantly struggling over her attractions to many of the male characters.  Bill and Eric are the two big ones obviously ( Read more... )

I agree but for one simple thing, I think that Sookie should come to terms with how much Bill loves her and with the points you mentioned; how he loved her enough not to tell his Maker her name even while being tortured. Even though Eric is more like her, opposites can attract and be powerful in love. Trust me, I like Eric but I really don't know if thats who she'll end up with...I'm kind of hoping its Bill.

One of my friends wants it to be Sam, and my problem with that is he's her boss and there friendship is well past the point of loving each other like that.

And I didn't exactly like Quinn myself really, although I sort of did want Alcide and her to get together because she really seemed to like him but too many things got in the way for that to happen. I'm kind of glad they didn't though.

Also, hehe, this is a spoiler too:

I love in Dead and the Family were she kissed to make him feel better than he was like, I'm sure if we made love, I'd be cured. Or something like that...LMAO.

LOL! i liked that part too! =)~

As I said, I'm still trying to figure Eric out. The blood bonding thing sort of puts a cloud over everything. I think thier relationship is probably going to be put to the test in the next book since he's struggling to keep his political position. We'll see how it pans out I guess.

I'm wondering if Charlaine Harris is going to end up ending the series with a BillxJudith pairing so she can have an EricxSookie ending. It sort of seemed like that's were it was going. It just seemed so convienient that she resembles his wife. I might be wrong. Harris can add so many unsuspected twists!

I can't wait for the next book! I hope we don't have to wait too long!!! I'll just have to suck in the TrueBlood series until then!

Nice pun there, lol...I'm pretty sure the creator of TrueBlood is going a different route, he's already said he wants to keep Sookie and Bill together(so much for leading us on about it, eh?). And I hadn't read that part of the book, til just now so yeah, I think your right...Although why would he tell Sookie they were going to spend a week to 'catch up' like that??? Confusion!

To be honest, I liked the part where she finally considered heartfully about becoming a vampire. I mean she has been off and on dating with them, and I think she should have considered it a long time ago that way. But I think that should say something about her relationship with Eric, cause she considers becoming a vampire to be with him. So I've officially changed my mind about Bill and Eric...It should be Eric, lol.

Perhaps he worded it like in an attempt to make Sookie jealous. That seemed to be his motivation for dating the real estate agent. Sookie did indicate she had to force herself to be an 'imitation' of a better person who would want her ex lover to be happy with someone as she was reading it.

It really surprised me that she was actually considering the possibility of becoming a vampire. That would take care of her habit of sun bathing- LOL. She seems to defend herself every single time she lays out in the sun "I know it's bad for me, but it's one of the few pleasures I have!" LOL!
