That last gif, where Sylar is twirling the rabbit and Peter appears to be watching him, is quite funny.
I liked the story, though I don't think that Peter thought the getting of a new book didn't mean anything. My take on the show, and given Peter's dialogue after giving it, was that Peter meant it to mean something and he knew it meant something. But other than that, I loved the fic!
I would suggest, that since you title them anyway, that you put the title in the subject line. Or is there a convention around here to just say it's a fic and let people click it if they're interested?
Huh, I guess I just figured I never did that. Hmm. It doesn't explicitly say in the rules to do it. I guess I could start?
And I dunno if it's just the way I wrote it, but Peter is in super denial in that part, for me. Because in that scene he like, doesn't hand the book to Sylar, he drops it in his lap, and he looks around instead of looking right at him. He's uncomfortable, I think, with the idea.
Definitely uncomfortable with the idea, yeah. It's like he's feeling like he *should* apologize and so he got the book, but he hasn't worked himself up to accepting it overtly, which is what he does when Sylar gets in his face later in that scene, saying something like "all this time you were the one who wouldn't let me out." Yeah, I can see denial.
But then finally, at least in my fic, he's like, yeah, okay. Whatever. I like him.
I suppose, in canon, after they get out, the fact that he's like, defending him against Matt and that they're practically holding hands at the carnival is proof enough, ha ha.
Oh, I love this. Both Peter and Sylar are very in-character and the scenes are very well chosen. Great work, sweetheart.
Also, I wanted to thank you for frequently posting to the sylar/peter comm. It's always a pleasure to log in and see that there is a new fic written by you. Makes me happy. So, thanks ^_^
Apparently the way my school schedule works out this semester I have nothing to do but mope around, avoiding social life and writing. So I'm glad that someone out there appreciates my insanity. :)
Ha, be glad that you got enough free time to spent in your fandom. The project I was assigned to at work takes away all the afternoon/evening time that I used to have for these kind of things. Okay, so I *know* this is high level whining, but still for me it's a high price to pay for having more money than before.
This week is different, though. I got my wisdom teeth surgically removed which means I get to spent the week at home. Just as I was feeling better I strained my neck and now I'm all lying around doing nothing, which would be fine if it weren't for that horrible pain in my friggin neck everytime I move my head just a tiny little bit. That sucks. But other than that I'm good ^_^
Do you have any pain killers left from getting your teeth removed? When I got my wisdom teeth pulled in May I got a whole bottle of Vicodin. Not that I had to use it, thank God.
Really. You don't know how much this means to me. This fic was so full of awesome I don't think I'm ever gonna recover.
Loved how you used actual scenes from the show here. I always thought there was something strangely interesting in the nail gun scene. I'm sure that's how Peter must have thought back then (gosh, I talk like they were real people). The Wall stuff is as distressing and adorable at the same time as ever, and number 2 is SO married couple.
I was going to, like, ANALYZE this and sound so smart and all that. But no, I can only say that I'm really, really moved. Plus, the ending got me in tears. Oh, the romance. <3
Now, since I'm in such sensivite mood, I'm off to watch some Gilmore Girls (the second episode of season one. I have to watch this fast, can't wait to see baby!Milo).
Good Lord, everytime Gilmore Girls is on tv I check to see if Jess in in it because he is just THAT ADORABLE. <3 <3 <3
I'm so pleased! I know you said you wanted to see what they fight about and so I kind of ran with it.
Don't worry, I talk like they're real people, too. Isn't that what the show aims for? For people to become emotionally attached? (Anyone who's seen me watching the show can tell you I get mad, ha ha.)
Yay, romance!
Thanks for reading, I'm so glad you liked it. You're my favorite, ha ha. :D

I thought about putting them fighting physically after the Wall, but didn't. I dunno why.
