No, Daredevil, Professor X, and Batgirl/Oracle are good starting points. And since I'm mostly an X Men fan, and I know next to nothing about DC, I'm kind of relying on other people to point me in the direction of other stuff.

You'd want Gail Simone for Oracle and possibly John Rogers for Blue Beetle, among other things.

I too want to volunteer for something for GGC next year, probably programming related. I already have ideas for a couple panels I'd like to moderate.

I think I'm missing something with Blue Beetle. I've read the trade you gave me, and... is someone disabled and I missed it? Or does something happen later (or with one of the previous Beetles)?

He's disabled, the suit is what allows him to superhero. The one you have isn't the first in the series, I'm not sure which one is. I admit to having them all but not having read much. So much reading to do. If you wanna look at mental disability, Two-Face is a possibility.

Huh. Yeah, it seemed like maybe the second or third trade. Still early in his being the Beetle. Maybe I'll pick up the first this weekend. I was starting to warm up to the characters, though the (constantly changing) art left something to be desired. Hmmmm...
