I told dogwoodblossom we'd start planning for Geek Girl Con after I got back from my sister's wedding, so here we are. (btw, my sister is married now. The ceremony was perfect, Vermont is lovely, and Boston was awesome. A++ would vacation again)

So! GGC is October 8th and 9th in Seattle. Who's going? Who wants to share rooms? Who wants to roadtrip

I want to do the hotel rooms! Also the extra couple days, or maybe it would be more manageable if it was just one extra day? If we had a relax-a-thon Capital Hill sex store day on Monday and then went home Tuesday. Because I think we are all on tight budgets here with our liberal arts degrees and whatnot.

Hey, we could sleep in, go to the spa and lay around, do a bit of minor shopping and then go over to Erica's (or back to our hotel) and watch bad sci-fi all evening. Classic.

A more pressing question, who wants to do group cosplay? For a while I wanted to be the Tenth Doctor and have Donna and Ood Sigma with me because that would have been awesome, but then I started thinking about arty nerdy shit and I figured out exactly how to make a kickass glowing hand in a jar and now I want to be Jack Harkness if I can just procure a proper great coat. Suggestions for awesome costumes on a theme: Ten, The Doctor Donna, Jack. Jack, Kirk, Tom Servo. Jack and Megalodon. Jack and any of the characters from Cabaret. I'm just spit-balling here.

Yes to SPA. (Bill and Matt will have to entertain themselves while we do that.) Yes to sci-fi marathon. All post-con. The less I have to think or move the better.
