The story: Italian and France don't  pronounce the letter H.
I don't say   "Hello Harry,I'm so happy"  but  "ello Arry, I'm so appy..."
+ Your "he" (English)  sound like the  vowel "i" in italian...

Don't worry about it too much! People make mistakes like that in their native languages, just because they aren't thinking clearly at the time. As long as they got your point in the end. :D
