I'm glad it's the lovely Kaylynn who got to experiment all this, even though the start was rough. But for both us and sims, it only makes you appreciate life more after the rough days are gone.
I am loving building the house as I play (and super stoked about this one in particular), definitely need to do that with more of my households. It's the perfect mix of building and playing, and I don't suffer from decision fatigue like I do when building from start to finish in one go. And, I'm not sure what I want to do with some of my abandoned original starter homes when growing families move to larger ones.
The radiator works so much better than the glitchy stove, that was a good discovery for the more extreme hardship challenges.
