Because when I have plenty of time to write, no other claims on me, then I sit here procrastinating. On Sunday, when Rich was working all day, I did absolutely zero words on my NaNoNovel... and today, with my boss away, I'm already finding myself pretty scattered and useless. ( Of course, writing a LJ entry is just another delaying technique... )

So glad you had a fun and debauched night - no naughty, wonderfully smutty fic writer deserves it more! :)

I LIKE to that procrastination is part of the creative process - the ebb before the flow - but maybe that's wishful thinking!

Been having a rough time lately but I hope the tide is beginning to turn (to continue the seafaring metaphor theme) *wonders why* ;)

I really shouldn't complain about an "ebb" period of a day or two, when I've had six-month periods when I couldn't write. I hope your high tide comes in soon, too.

It's a stressful time of year, I think, so finding the time to write is a problem. And clearing my head of all the junk the universe presents as distractions: Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. Plus that damn paying job I need to keep...

I should be writing now but I'm not. I'm reading LJ and uploading more fics to Last Ship.

From the stats at Last Ship, it looks like you and Lora have been skipping meals and uploading your heads off! The site looks great, I've already read two stories I either didn't know existed or forgot about...

But I couldn't break into the "top reviewers" list, because I wasn't a registered user! *pouts* Two reviews SHOULD have gotten me in, at that point.
