Does anybody know how to use powerpoint? do I download the program from the net?

need to make a in memoriam cd of photos of birth grandfather, just diagnosed with all kinds of cancer, giving him a couple weeks to live.

any information would be appreciated, thanks

yes, Jackie's dad
he's had emphysema for the past couple years (watch your smoking people!) and now found a tumor in his stomach that they think has spread to his liver and possibly other organs
not a good prognosis, likely doing biopsy today

I'll tell jackie & fam you are thinking of them, send your good vibes

I do photo montage videos all the time (in fact I am working on a Biker funeral video montage right now) and I can lend you the video software
- but I am concerned that the learning time on that software
might be longer than your grandfther has.

Start scanning in all the photos now - have digital photos ready to go
for when you get ahold of software

BTW powerpoint is professional business presentation software - if you just want a simple slideshow software you can probably find something cheap or free online - or look at the software that came with your scanner.
