I agree, the sentence was far to severe for a woman of her age and the nature of the crime. It is ashame when serious offenders, repeat offenders get slaps on the wrist while civil disobedience warrants the hatchet. Hopefully she will spend it in a place that as stress free as a jail can be. Thankfully she will only have to do 6 months of her 10 month sentence. That's 2/3 of her sentence and she can get out early for good behavior.
Whether she derserves to go to jail is one thing, however it is pretty obvious to all that her sentense is too harsh considering what she did and what others have done. Mind you, this isn't the first time she's done jail time, so I wonder if the judge regarded her as a repeat offender when they came up with the sentensing? That's my guess.
