mkay, so what's the deal with this "Live Green, Go Yellow" ad campaign?

it's too good to be completely true, so i know there's a catch...anybody know what it is?

It's a GM-related campaign for corn-based ethanol fuel (hence the yellow). These people suggest that you're right--it isn't as good as they make it sound: http://www.greencarcongress.com/2006/01/gm_live_green_g.html

ahh thanks...while i hadn't heard of that campaign slogan I have done some reading about E85 (http://www.e85fuel.com). Seems to me that even though it might be cleaner for the environment, it would only drive the price of corn up (thank you capitalism!) so the supposed "price savings" of (at least) this alternative fuel is just a myth in my opinion. That article though is interesting in point ing out the loss of energy efficiency.
I'll still stick with the hybrid fuel/electric cars for right now. 8>)
