Wow, LAST day of the meme already. I feel like I was very indecisive. And also that my tv interests are very narrow. This is probably not necessarily a bad thing. LOL

Yep, any of those three would have been a good choice.

However, didn't John Spencer film Leo's death before he died? You've seen the show more recently than me, but I thought they'd already decided to kill Leo and then after they filmed it he actually went and died.

Nope. He died the week before the VP debate aired. They had to scramble around the scripts to find ways to have him not be present, and then wrote it into Election Day 2.

In fact, the plan was to have Vinick win, to end the show with the idealistic American peaceful transfer of power, and how it's sort of amazing, and we invented it (kind of). But they rewrote, because the idea of Leo's death *and* the loss of the election would be far too depressing of an ending.

Ah, I thought Leo died from the heart attack that we saw on the show. I didn't recall that he returned after that. My bad.

I've seen that video before, it always makes me tear up. And yes, Leo's death is staggeringly heartbreaking. I think the acting around it is so good because the actors' emotions are so raw, so there on-display.

I vote for Ten's regeneration, probably because I've never seen any of those other ones you wrote about. I'm going to start DW series 5 tonight, and I'm grumpy that there will be no DT.
