Oh you naughty girl. Leaving us hanging like that. Ah well we'll just have to be patient. I wonder how Pete and the Doctor are fairing. Poor Rose, so glad she has Jackie but maybe just maybe the Doctor can get that progenator maching going or something else will turn up.

Yes, I'm rather evil and mean this week, aren't I? *cackle* My students always whine and complain that I "always stop at the good part" when I'm reading to them (from chapter books) and I always blame it on the author - guess that doesn't really help me much in this case huh? LOL

Don't worry, I would leave you hanging for too long... Saturday is just around the corner.

Yeah, Rose needed her mum to help her through some of her grief.

Oh, I LOVE my animated mood theme. I actually have a new, updated one but I haven't changed it yet. I believe that scene is from the end of "Forest of the Dead" when the Doctor goes back and basically restores River into the computer...

arrrghhh no the Ood are coming at them and Rose has passed out. and....? seriously what next?

Love the images of the Doctor sleeping and pretending to sleep to give Rose space. Very sad situation but at least it's bringing them closer. I was scared it would drive a wedge between them, resentments etc.

Am on the edge of my seat *waiting*

I'm afraid you'll have to wait until Chapter 9 to find out if your questions are answered or not... This was a bit intense of an ending though! :)

Awwww yes, the Doctor loves Rose and he knows her so well at this point (remember, they've been together now for over 5 years in this universe) that he can tell when to comfort her and when to give her alone time. Nope, no wedges here...

Don't fall over the edge of your seat just yet, still 2 days until chapter 9 goes up....

Wonderful chapter - complete with fully-functional cliffhanger. How did the Ood find the TARDIS before the Doctor found them? I get the feeling that the TARDIS also has faith in the whole baby situation, so hopefully that will get resolved soon as well. Looking forward to the next chapter!

As for the Ood, I can't answer that question - 'twould be giving too much away, alas.

The TARDIS is very in tune with both the Doctor and Rose.
