Rose and the Doctor definitely needed that. You captured it really well. :)

And, Yay for the planet of Butterfly-people. :D

They really did, didn't they? Rose has been holding on to some of that for nearly TWENTY years. She needed to get it out before she could ever hope to move on. I'm glad you think I captured the moment well. To be honest, this was one of my favourite chapters to write.

Hee I'm glad you like the planet of Butterfly-people! :)

Awww, this is THE FIGHT, but it ends on a happy note, so that's good!

Yes! This is THE fight. I was shocked when I opened the document and realised it was time for this chapter already. It came so quickly.

And yes, it does end on a happy note. I did that on purpose of course. I knew that they had to have this fight and that things had to be said so they could both start to move on, but I also knew I wanted to get them to a point where they could begin to get to know each other again and become close again and I wanted the end of this fight to be that launching point. So yes, fighting, but I think it's a good thing. (If Rose held all that in much longer I think she'd probably combust!!!)

Excellent fight that needed to happen. It must have been a shock to Rose to realize that Ten at this point in his life is almost more broken than Nine was when he told her to, "Run!" And of course, it's good that Ten got a much-deserved earful.

Thank you! Yes you're right, this fight had to happen. It was inevitable and necessary and I think also cathartic and healing for both of them. As mad as Rose is (and legitimately so), I think she's most upset at seeing him so out of control and broken. She's so used to him being in control and being the one to fix these situations, that it's very unsettling to her to see him be so lost. Ultimately, she came back to this universe expecting in a way to be saved by him, and found herself saving him instead.

And of course, it's good that Ten got a much-deserved earful. it really is. He needed to hear those things. He absolutely NEEDED to be reminded of his limitations and of why he lives by the rules that he usually lives by. This whole situation was a turning point for him. In fact, it *should* have been the "death" of him and if he'd had to try to fix it himself it absolutely would have been.

She had to put it all on the table. She's been holding onto a lot of that fury for far too long already. The only way she can ever hope to move on is to speak her mind and then let it go.

But yes, the reality is that he is a very wounded and broken man at this point. He's been through a lot since he last saw her and his loneliness has proven to nearly be his downfall. So even though she's mad at him, she still loves him very much and when she realizes how broken he is she has no choice but to let go of the anger and comfort him. He needs her more than she ever imagined. And she needs him.

Such a wonderful moment, even with the argument. It was spot on and they needed it so badly. The ending was so perfect too, in perfect Doctor/Rose fashion they have their spat and fall back exactly into place with her giggling and finding a way to brighten the situation. As angry as she gets with him, she can't stay mad with him.

You capture them so well, all their aspects.

THIS IS WHY I LOVE YOU ♥

Must have more, only a few chapters left and i am excitred to see what else you have in store!

awwww &hearts* You're so sweet.

This is actually my favourite chapter of the whole story and it's because it's such a turning point. So many things were discussed here that were needed to clear the air. Rose can't stay mad forever though, and it's very hard to stay angry with a man as broken as the Doctor right now.

Also, at the end I wanted to show that even after all they've been through they're still the same people and they can still have that sort of rapport with each other.

You capture them so well, all their aspects.

THIS IS WHY I LOVE YOU ♥

Awww thank you so much. I try to make sure I cover all my bases, but it's not always easy and I often fear I've missed something important so that means a lot.

Yeah, I can't believe we're nearly at the end already - it's gone by so quickly!
