Aww thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed my little mid-week surprise. I have a great weakness for the Doctor and Viola interacting. I think there will be many, many more stories about them in days to come.

Oh yes, the Doctor was quite concerned about the casual way in which Viola mentioned regeneration. He doesn't know her that well yet, but he's already picking up on her tendency toward recklessness (hmmm remind you of anyone?).

Ahh yes, the disappearing thing is definitely still happening... Viola really should *not* exist at this moment... Not after everything Ten has done...

HAHAHA yes exactly. HAIR IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!!!! Also, she's really not bothered by any of it. (A fact which worries her mother greatly!)

Short but sweet! I really do love the dynamic you've created between Ten and Viola. What a pair! And thank goodness Stolen!Rose disappeared, although I'm dying of curiosity as to why. TARDIS being kind or is it a deeper mystery. Can't wait until Friday!

Yeah it is a tad on the short side. The chapters will be getting a bit longer soon. (In general they're shorter than they were in the first story though - partly because of the way this story is being told - it just works better for the pacing).

I'm so glad you enjoy their dynamic. They really do make quite the duo. As for "Stolen!Rose" (great name for her - BTW), Your curiosity may be alleviated eventually. Then again, maybe not.

Yes, not long to wait at all. The next chapter will be up before you know it!

I have no issues with short chapters if they make sense for the pacing of the story. This chapter said what it needed to say, and we can now pout until you post more on Friday ;-)

Glad you like "Stolen!Rose." Ten would totally steal a Rose. Nine certainly did ;-)

Yeah exactly. It's about storytelling, not length. And look! Now it's Friday! So no more pouting *grin* Alas it's another short chapter. But I think you'll like it anyway. (It's up - a bit late, since I was at a play, but it's there now).

LOL Ten would steal a Rose, it's true. Especially in this state of mind. I've got lots of fixing to do... hmmm :)

This chapter is one of my personal favourites precisely for the reasons you say. The Doctor and Viola together are just such a great team and I adore their dynamic SO much. Viola has the Doctor wrapped around her finger in about 3 seconds - her intelligence and willingness to call him on stuff as well as her ability to keep up with him impresses him greatly. Plus, she reminds him of Rose... Although Viola hooked him even before he realized exactly who she is...
