The SF Half/Full Marathon of 2009 takes place on my 29th birthday - what better way to celebrate by getting in the best shape of my life and training for my first half marathon? :)

I'm trying to raise $250.00 to cover my entrance fee, any donation to help me reach my goal is much appreciated! The link below will
take you to my donation page.

Good luck! I hope you stay injury-free on your path to half-marathon-ness...I wanted to run a few this year but I recently turned my ankle again >_

Good luck with the training!!! who are you training with?
Please remember to stretch and listen to your body. I say this because after going through back surgery recently, I now understand how important proper training is. Hopefully, I'll be able to run the Nike's half this year, we'll see.

I know you'll kick some ass!!

there's actually a ton of us training for the SF marathon right now. a lot of beginners gearing up for the half, and a few veteran runners attempting the full. it's going to be at least 6-7 people i know :) i'm really excited.

Yeah, i'm doing the works - good shoes, good insoles, training proper running stance, gradual increase in workout, losing some weight for less impact - i work near this awesome trail so i can go running in the mornings too!

And thank you for your donation/pledge, from the bottom of my heart!!! <33333

I totally recommend you get a stride test done so you know what type of shoes to get, if you hadn't already. :P

And you're welcomed! I'm really excited for you!
