I'm impressed that you are still reading so regularly. I feel so out of the loop and in a way do miss LJ.

How are things with you?

Honestly. Things are pretty great. Although not perect; I'm very content with the things that are going on in my life.

This will be another great year for all of us I hope.

I need to actually make a post and catch up. I really see the value in the journey and recognizing the past and moving forward.

I still read, most of the time! Since I've been writing emails I haven't written a lot on LJ, but I do when it's something racy/too emotional for mass emails.

I'm excited that you'll be posting more though, I've been wondering what you're up to these days and it's always good to read from you.

I really enjoy your updates and stories per email. I never responded, but I always feel happy when I get a new email and some of what you wrote really touched me. For example the mail about the way people do not consider LGBTI issues to be as worthwhile as other activism, and some of the difficulties you and Gullit have been experiencing in this regard. And some other stories really made me smile, like the one the Halloween watermelons!

2011 has really not been a good year for me, as there has been a lot of sadness and stress. There are things I do want to write about, but you knwo how it is sometimes when one feel overwhelmed by stuff But 2012 will be different!! I feel like 2012 will be the year of change for me. I have been searching for jobs that are really in the field of development, much closer to what I want to do. I have had several interviews in the last few weeks and am both very excited and scared.

Aw, sorry to hear that your year hasn't been the greatest. I'm sure good things are coming your way though, you have so much to offer employers! Wishing you lots of luck. I too feel that this is a year of change :)
