I swear i have them on the brain (pardon the pun) atm. Just tonight i watched Resident Evil Extinction and listened to a podcast reviewing 28 weeks later. I do want to get writing on zombie love again at some stage, so i feel i should see what else is out there first, as before i came up with that idea i wasn't much into zombies (other than 28 days later which was just an amazing film).

Next afternoon+evening that you have off we must have a Romero marathon, since i missed out on the one at the art gallery :(.

28 days later was a freaky and disturbing take on humanity a little in the style of Lord of the Flies. Very dystopic. 28 weeks later, on the other hand, was a stupid shoot 'em up. I was /so/ disappointed.

While i agree weeks was not a patch on days, i still felt it had some interesting things to say about the military & the whole plan B protocol :/. And the first part with the house & the country and the escape to the boat was insanely terrifying man i jumped a whole heap much to the amusement of my left-hand seatmate (luckily the friend to the right of me was just as terrified so she joined me in my jumping ;)). this is the site with the review i mentioned, it's quite good & brought up some interesting points about the psychology of the zombies in the film.

I think this is definitely the Zoey v Witch scenario. Union regulations prohibit interfering with PlayerCharacter BossCharacter quality time.

Heh.

Randomly, I saw a video of a Hunter, Boomer and Witch fighting it out in the train in the subway. (The one you have no choice but to go through.) The hunter killed the boomer, and I think the witch may have killed the hunter? Not sure, but eventually one of the players spooked her.

Indeed. Quite possibly the best game to come out this year.
