When did Will Smith make the transition into such an incredible actor? I've always liked him as an actor, but his performance in Seven Pounds is way beyond anything I've seen from him before. For any of you who have not seen this movie yet, do so. It is the most powerful, heart-wrenching movie I've ever seen.

I think it started to happen after Ali....saw some of it in happyness...

He was really good in Pursuit of Happyness as well, but his performance in Seven Pounds is leagues above that. Never saw Ali...

That was a really different role for him, and I think his first 'serious' role. Bizarre movie though. You should check out Seven Pounds, I think you'd really like it.
