I just wanted to pop in and say thank you for this post, because it has me really thinky about a lot of writing things at present. Mostly, it's got me thinking about excuses I make not to write, and how probably instead of making those excuses I should just write, and worry a lot less about the quality of what comes out. So thank you for getting those wheels turning in my brain! And good luck with all YOUR writing, which you know I deeply love.

Why, thank you! I am in full agreement, lady -- just write. You do wonderful work, and there's no reason to fear that talent. If you find you've gone a whole week without writing something, you know you can always jump into #FicFriday. But do write, whether in private or public, because it would be a shame not to have your work exist. :)
