Dude, I don't think it's completely gone

Something like 50% of it was away being restored, and there's talk of the destroyed parts being replaced with new, but properly chosen materials..

'course, it won't be the same. But I suppose i can live with a restoration pthat the trust that owned the ship wanted to happen anyway.

So I hear, when I made this post I had heard little more than "the Cutty Sark burnt down yesterday". It saddened me muchly. I remember going there once or twice when I was no older than 9 or 10, and I loved it. I've always wanted to go back, and to show it to Erika, but whenever we've made trips to London I've always forgotten about it. It's nice to know that much of it is salvageable and that they plan to restore it to it's former glory.

I went with my dad when i was about 11, did the whole greenwich thing and I loved it. Always meant to go back, just hope i can still do it.
