I think New Year's Resolutions are a load of crap.

If you want to change something about yourself badly enough, why wait until the year has ended to put it into effect? And if you *don't* want to change something about yourself, why force yourself to do it simply because the year has ended? It seems very forced and artificial to me.

But I think your implications frighten me...

I think you should make up your mind whenever you feel psychologically/physically/mentally ready to tackle the resolution. Screw new years.
