Max, I love you, but you're walking into a bad situation again. If he's abused you in the past, chances are he'll do it again. What he needs to do is get some therapy or counseling to help him work out all the issues that are troubling him. I understand you want to be supportive and everyone needs support from friends and family. They help us get through all the bad stuff that life throws at us. I really don't think you should persue a sexual relationship with him. Just my pieces of eight....
