The Oaks released their Moonlit Matinee schedule for this year.
So, here are movies of most of the movies. I have ommited a few. I have listed them as a reminder to me which ones are definites, would like to see, and if I have nothing better to do with my life. This year I only have 2 definites. Last year there were like 4-5.

> CLERKS (1994) Everyone tells me I need to see this movie, so it is on the list of definite try to be there

Make that a distinct "not everyone." I saw "Clerks" and was more than unimpressed; I thought it was a waste of my time. Two slackers sit in a convenience store and try to sound philosophical, but come off (at least to me) as just whining. It was, in fact, one of the more stupid movies through which I think I've ever been forced to sit. And before people respond with "Well, you just don't like Kevin Smith," I thought "Chasing Amy," while no great piece of cinema, was an enjoyable enough movie, and I think "Dogma" should be on the required viewing list for anyone who wants to philosophize about mainstream religion.

Just wanted to present the minority opinion. ^_^

Not necessarily in the minority - Clerks is one of least favorite of the View Askewniverse movies. I've seen it, and it's really not that good. Dogma and Mallrats are much better.

My definites: Supergirl and Clue
My maybes: Raiders of the Lost Ark

As for my opinion on Clerks, I'm not a big fan. though I do enjoy the discussion about contract workers on the second Death Star in Jedi. TJ geeks out on certain cinematic aspects, but you could just talk to him about that.

Seeing Clerks is like seeing an old friend. :-P I can see why many don't like it as much as the others. Chasing Amy was probably my favorite of his movies. I think there was more real conversation and dialogue than in 10 other movies you could see today.

I am definately going there for Raiders of the Lost Ark. It is one of my favorite all time movies. And it is the weekend of my birthday. :)

I've been told I need to see Clerks as well, but only because I AM (currently) a clerk and will appreciate it.
