WorldWinner bought us dinner last night. That was pretty cool.

It was a customer appreciation/feedback meeting. A couple of other random site users were also there along with three company reps. I guess cheezchick made an impression on the WW rep in Dayton. I can't imagine how that could happen ( Read more... )

WW held a special after hours ScrabbleCubes competition for NSC contestants. cheezchick won 1st prize, a $500 Amazon gift certificate. I think it paid out about 8 prizes plus free t-shirts if you reached a certain score.

Seems like WW is doing well and has money to burn. I remember they also sponsored Rahn's NSC trip last year... all he did was ask. The WW rep in Dayton (same one who invited us) travels around the country treating customers to dinner.

They're a natural sponsor, we should keep them involved. And see how much more they're willing to spend on us :)

Alison? All the WW people seemed nice when I met them. Remind them to give me a job, though. :-)
