So it's been nearly a year since my suicidal breakdown and my return to Albany from NYC. A year of sleeping in my childhood room. A year of learning a whole new job. A year of living without "the dream" and only the barest of hopes for a solid future. It's been both a long year and a fast one

I cannot tell you how happy this post makes me!! I have some small inkling of what the road has been like for you these last few years, and I'm so glad to know you found the strength inside of you to keep slogging along.

I'm glad we connected on FB as well, and I enjoy the bits and pieces you post there. I'll look forward to hearing all about the trip to the Orkney Islands!! It sounds wonderful!!
