Where I stand with Yahoo

Apr 14, 2005 17:00

Below the cut is a letter that was requested from one of the Chief Officer's departments at Yahoo!

The letter will explain my entire situation and the steps I've taken so far.

Please note, I got to the point where I was asked to send this letter by a representative of one of the board of the company.

EDIT: Removed a name that hadn't been removed ( Read more... )

How do you get PGP signatures on Yahoo! mail?

I must admit you've inspired me to change my Yahoo password to something more complicated ... and you've made me curious about this "gMail" thing I keep hearing about, which I kept turning down because "I'm very happy with my Yahoo mail account."

I personally adore my gmail account. If you want to try it out, I have 50 invites and can send you so you can try it out!

Why does everyone rave about it so much? I mean ... it's just a mail account. What's so fantastic about it? But ... sure ... I'd love an invite to try it out. You can email me at my LJ address: kimberly_a@livejournal.com

Thanks!

I guess because it seems to have fewer problems, so far ZERO spam, and the way it's set up it's easy to find older e-mails.

The punchline? Guess where Yahoo moved to?

Let's just say I now work in Yahoo Center. :)

If you still worked for your old employer, you just could have walked over there.

I can also list countless
people who may not have the knowlege or will to get this far and have
simply given up on Yahoo as a product.

I feel for you Andrei, this exact thing happened to me a few years back(except how I lost access to my Account), and I took almost all the steps you did, I got halfway through(never made it to Corporate) before giving up and abandoning Yahoo altogether, I will NEVER use any product from them for as long as I live.

I hope you can somehow get your Account back. =\
