Sarkozy recently updated his Facebook to make it more personal with pictures of him and his wife's day-to-day life, or so the paper reported.

I don't like Sarkozy but I love those images, he looks drunk but like one of those lovable drunks, not the annoying drunks.

This reminds me of how over-the-top I am about virtually everything, because lately I can't look at any pictures of Obama without getting angry and frustrated.

I haven't been paying attention to American politics lately, what's happening that's making you angry?

I can't look at pictures of him without thinking of The Gods Must Be Crazy, evidently.

His administration defended the Defense of Marriage Act, and he said we have to wait to repeal Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Of course, during his campaign, he promised to get rid of both of those. I'm finally beginning to admit to myself that he's a homophobe like the rest of them, at least publicly and politically (which is pretty much what counts in his position).

I've gotta be honest that since Obama has been elected to office, I don't really know what's been going on lately. It's like I haven't had time to follow politics as closely as I know I should. I do have a vague feeling of disillusionment though--but it's tempered by the fact that I didn't have super high expectations to begin with (I didn't *dislike* Obama, I just didn't think he was gonna be able to snap his fingers and make everything better). The unemployment rate in the country is a bit alarming and banks as well as businesses have been failing right and left, but that's really all I know right now.
