I don't see it that way. If I were watching it during the height of conservatism in the US, when Fox was on a roll, then I'd just want to moan. Seeing as they lost the election and have to grasp at whatever they can, it's highly amusing to me that they're pimping out a conservative rap "senation" thinking it might pull in some of the younger people. I almost feel embarassed for them. They've had their day and now all they've got is stuff like this! Rejoice in their misery!
Ok, it was pretty pathetic, I'll give you that. It also irritates me that once again, conservatives are immediately aligned with Christianity without a single thought, as if political ideology and religion are one-in-the-same. Not that I consider myself a Christian, but still. There is such a thing as a Christian who is liberal or a Democrat.
Even though it's unintentionally funny, it still made me cringe. Also, unfortunately there's been a bit of an Obama backlash since the initial Obama mania, since the economy is still in the crapper (not that this is his fault, but you'd be amazed at the number of people who are trying to say it is), and all this Iran crap is going down, etc. Every time I read a news article and then dare to read any comments afterwards, there's always a handful of people trashing Obama on some issue or another. Moral of the story: never get too complacent and never be over-eager to declare yourself the victor.
Yeah I didn't get the Christianity emphasis. Don't a lot of rappers, gangster or just liberal guys mention God in their "songs"? I thought they were in general equally religious. Half their friends are dead and they often mention these deceased in reference to heaven or just God in general

I'm quite glad that I can't say I agree with you at all on that one. It's so depressing fancying someone then finding out they're conservative. On the other hand, someone who's moderately appealing escalates right up the scale the more liberal they are, for me. That guy though, conservative or liberal, not for me.
Who said they were a sensation other than Fox anyway? They were saying they can rival Eminem. Firstly Eminem has seen his days but even if he hadn't, they just make themselves look so stupid because we're more likely to see Eminem canonized before we see the youth go nuts for these guys.

you can't support abortion and be a Christian

One of the worst songs I've heard. Then the host at the end seriously saying "these guys are good!" ... that's priceless. Fox knews kneads stories.
