I really feel heartbroken in that I just posted here about his All Star Superman movie being released, but I now must post that he apparently passed away today. I was going to post something up as well, but between you and Eason, I figured you guys had it covered.

We lost a luminary in comics. His legacy will be lasting, especially since they are rebooting Static in the DC Universe this year.

Though of course I respect his work, I think I was most impressed with his advocasy on minority representation in comics. He was a great role model for all the kids who weren't white growing up wanting to get into comics, and for that - a whole new generation of artists should recognize the efforts of Dwayne and the Milestone movement as paving the way.
