An Invitation
Dear Guest,
You are invited to share feast and festivities in celebration of Hallows Eve, sixteen days hence. Any who attend should arrive in costume. I would be honoured if you would join me in the revelry,

OOC Details - Halloween
That's right, Deior will be hosting a costume party on the night of Halloween, and everyone's invited!
The log itself will be posted on late Friday 28th or early Saturday 29th EST and forward-dated to the 31st so that people have the weekend to play.
This means you actually only have two weeks to pick out a costume for your character, should you so choose.
Speaking of costumes, the clothier's on level 3 of the Clothier's Tower is now packed with them. But there's a catch.
They're all fandom costumes, and they're all unique. What's more, they're all of production-level quality and sized as though they'd fit the original owner.
What does this mean?
It means that there is only one Superman costume and unless your character is a 6' tall buff guy, they're not going to be able to wear it. So! If or when you pick a fandom costume for your character, please keep the following things in mind:
- There can be only one of each costume, and it's first-in-best-dressed. Place your orders here.
- You must pick a costume that is worn by a character who matches your character's size and build.
- You should try to avoid fandoms that are already in the game unless you have player-permission to initiate an existential crises (or to steal a character's clothes).
- Otherwise, and assuming it makes sense for your character's background, your character is free to recognize whom they are dressing up as.
All of that said, fandom is not the only option. Your character is more than welcome to make a more generic piece-meal costume out of buckets, bedsheets and whatever else they can cobble together. Or if they have talent or connections, they could get someone to sew something for them. It's up to you!
