Instead of running a prompt meme I went back to the old quarantine prompts from March and wrote a few over the last few days. I didn't get through all of them because I'm also working and doing a summer course, but I hope you enjoy the surprise anyway! :)

i wanted to say that i've read through all the new prompt fills and loved them, but especially my prompt! it walks the line so perfectly between being hilarious and sad. also this line:

“You wanna back up a step and tell me what the fancy word means, or are you gonna call me stupid some more?”

i love how well you write characters who lack education but have tons of emotional intelligence and ability to observe and think critically. it'd be so easy to either view brutus and claudius patronisingly or make them feel unrealistic, but you walk that line perfectly.

YAY I'M GLAD YOU LIKED IT, I really enjoyed writing it! It was surprisingly easy to get back into their dynamic. Also lol "walking the line between hilarious and sad" is 100% my oeuvre.

I'm glad you liked that Brutus line by the way, it's definitely a thing I think about a lot when writing the Twos.
