That killed me. It was amazingly written (as always) and now it’s reminded me how much screed cared for Alec and how much they ought to have had a house together and time together. Seriously that was so intense and brilliant, but I’m now going to have to switch to reading mentor fluff or your Hogwarts AU just so there’s a moment when Alec and Creed are alive and happy together, without imminent death hanging over their heads. Thanks so much for doing the birthday prompts, they’re all so great and I wish I had the time to comment on all of them, because each one is amazing. Happy belated birthday!
omg I know, and the worst part is how long it took for us to GET a working AU where Creed didn't bite the dust (the first few we tried and he ended up dying ANYWAY, but Hogwarts at least stuck, and EVENTUALLY we found a THG universe where it's fine!) ... he's just ....... so ................... good at sacrificing himself
(Creed's wand is a cypress wand, you should look that one up on Pottermore...)
And thank you! I had a lot of fun with the prompts!
This one is terrible. I feel so bad, Creed makes me so sad always because he was dead before I ever met him (in that I wrote Alec first, post-war, and Creed was already dead, a footnote in his backstory) and then I got to know him, and ugh. Poor kids.
