Work Situation is getting dumb again.

The production manager (PM) I started with finally had enough of the place and finally quit. I knew he was going too as I could see it every day at work. The boss was constantly giving him other things to do and going around the shop telling people what to do that he just told the PM. Yeah, thats what Ive had to deal with the entire time I've worked at my print shop. We've had 3 PM's in the 6 years I've been there, and yet they all left for the same reasons -- ultimately they felt that the boss didn't trust them, because they always went behind their backs. And of course he does it to me too. Funny/ sad thing is, more often than not lately I'm usually right anyway..

so, play "the game"

Wait tell they send you for training, spend tons of money getting you up to speed. Then dig in, and ask for a raise/bonus/whatever, and if they don't give it, start putting your resume out on the market. Don't tell them you are looking for a new job, then when you find one. You give 2 weeks, and walk no mater how much they offer you.
