So as I'm a total Ravenclaw, I've actually been really looking forward to getting back to classes at the end of September - but I got an email today saying that one of my modules is having a delayed start until November 5th, because the lecturers in Turkey on fieldwork. Aww, I really like Regulus! It's a nice picture, I really like the one knee up and whatever he's got in his hand. Laurel wreath? ;)

Good luck with the schoolness! Hopefully it won't be too crammed at the end. I'm surprised they're even holding the class, with "missing" half the periods? Maybe it'll be like summer school. But still, that's difficult!

Hey, thanks for the nice comments again. Regulus is holding a snitch, but I quite like the laurel wreath idea - he has a bit of a Roman aura about him in my head.

As for the class stuff I e-mailed them to check and it turns out they meant the beginning of October instead. Which is much better.

Wow, that seems really rather odd for me. Could they not find a replacement to fill in for those 6 weeks so you wouldn't have to either miss out on taught knowledge or scramble to fit everything in?

I know - it would have been very weird but thankfully it turned out it was just a typo and it's only going to be a week late starting, which is a bit of a difference, but should be much better.
